Meteor Crater Arizona, USA

Meteor Crater Info:
Located in USA, in state of Arizona, off interstate 40 at exit 233, 35 miles east of Flagstaff, 20 miles west of Winslow.
  • This was the first meteor crater to be identified as an impact crater
  • Best preserved crater on Earth
  • Impacted Earth between 20 and 50 thousand years ago
  • An 80 ft diameter asteroid made this 3/4 mile wide hole.
